Submit VA Certificate of Eligibility

Instructions

Newly admitted veteran and servicemember students (including those transferring to Columbia) who will utilize military benefits for education must acquire their Certificate of Eligibility from Veterans Affairs and submit it through this webform to the Office of Veterans and Military Affairs. The Certificate of Eligibility may also be known as the "decision letter" or "award summary."

You will not receive your benefits until the CoE is submitted and you have completed your Veterans Request for Certification form.

Students do not need to submit more than one CoE/decision letter unless their benefits change, such as losing eligibility.
