Columbia Institutional Loan Disclosures

About Loan Disclosures

The federal Truth-in-Lending Act (TILA or Regulation Z), was created to protect students from predatory lending practices. This regulation requires lenders to provide borrowers with written disclosures about borrowing costs, interest rates, and any fees upfront before they are legally obligated to repay the loan. Below you will find the TILA disclosures for the current academic year and prior that satisfy the Truth in Lending Act.

In accordance with the Truth in Lending Act, students borrowing institutional loans must receive three required disclosures at the following stages: at awarding, at acceptance, and prior to disbursement.

For institutional loans available within your specific school, please use the list below. To obtain additional information on awarding of institutional loans, please contact your schools financial aid office.
