SFS Private Loan Inquiry Intake Form

Due to recent changes with federal loan borrowing limits, many students may find that federal aid does not fully cover their educational costs and may need to use a private (alternative) student loan(s) to bridge the gap. You should submit the SFS Private Loan Inquiry Intake Form if you have questions about the recent changes and how they will impact your ability to borrow for your program of study.

The form allows our office to understand your needs at this time and assess how we can assist. Please be sure to provide all of the requested information that pertains to your situation for the upcoming academic year (Summer 2026/Fall 2026/Spring 2027). Please understand that this form is informational and is not a loan application.

This intake is for students who are eligible for federal loans, and have questions about those loans and/or private lending. Federal loan eligibility applies to students who are a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen planning to be enrolled at least half-time in an eligible program (degree or eligible certificate program).
